Ayurveda is an ancient and revered system of medicine that originated in India thousands of years ago. It is an intricate system of healing that allows us to respond to our body’s individual requirements, to achieve balance and maintain good health. Ayurveda does not treat the symptoms of illness but treats the cause.
The many components of this science provide a means to explore and correct the imbalances of the individual as a whole, emphasising positive health and the prevention of disease. Ayurvedic Medicine describes a complete system for restoring, maintaining and enhancing health, advocating the use of natural healing methods tailored to the individual, such as life style changes, Ayurvedic remedies, detoxification treatments, rejuvenation preparations and yogic practices. Techniques including; deep pulse reading, marma shakti, energetic healing and counselling, used to identify and treat the root cause of disease.
Conditions treated include infertility, arthritis, asthma, auto-immune disorders, IBS, high blood pressure, low immunity, thyroid disorders, hormonal imbalances, hypertension, depression and oedema are all treated carefully and consistently in order to allow the physical and energetic bodies to heal and sustain good health. Ayurvedic Medicine offers an opportunity to explore and heal the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual components of ourselves and to live lives full of vitatity.
