Dr Nicky Abitz
(Clinical Psychologist & Psychodynamic Psychotherapist)

D. Clin Psych, MSc, BSocSc (Hons)

Nicky has over 10 years of experience helping adults overcome some of life’s toughest challenges. She is passionate about helping others develop a stronger sense of self and a greater feeling of aliveness and authenticity.

Through listening with empathy and creating opportunities for reflection Nicky assists her clients to better understand themselves and the ways in which they relate to others, to rediscover resilience, and to find ways forward where previously there were obstacles and dead ends.

Nicky helps adults with varied issues – issues about life, relationships, work, loss, anxiety, depression, regulating emotions, and more. She has a particular interest in perinatal psychology (anxiety and/or depression during pregnancy and beyond) and attachment trauma.
